Started in 1987 as a three-man company ‒ today a permanent fixture with over 170 experts in Braunschweig and Hungary. Agile software development ‒ from consulting and project management through development and architecture to implementation, we offer everything from a single source.
We provide answers to technically complex questions. We serve all phases of the software lifecycle and meet the most diverse requirements from the development of highly complex digital solutions to the planning and implementation of demanding IT projects. Our projects are planned and implemented according to the principles of agile project work. In addition, we offer professional advice and services in the field of data protection and information security. Our experienced experts offer a comprehensive range of training opportunities in software development, UX/UI, requirements engineering, agility, data protection and information security.

The BREDEX GmbH is founded in the living room of Achim Brede.
- 2000
After the first office moves within Braunschweig, the first epansion took place.
- 2005
Since 2005, BREDEX has been awarding a scholarship annually to students of computer science.
- 2006
Guidancer: We develop our first test program as a product.
- 2007
Alex Schladebeck is hired, who is now a managing director of BREDEX.
- 2007
The 20th anniversary of BREDEX is celebrated with a big party.
- 2012
For the celebration of our 25th anniversary we organized a trip to Berlin for all employees.
- 2013
After the retirement of the founder Achim Brede, Andreas Vogel became managing director of BREDEX.
- 2016
The move to the current offices in the Lindentwete 1 in Braunschweig is completed.
- 2016
In April the subsidiary company BREDEX Kft. In Hungary is founded.
- 2017
A new team leader structure for BREDEX is developed.
- 2018
In 2018 the company reaches over 100 employees.
- 2020
Alex Schladebeck becomes a member of the management board.
- 2022
BREDEX is recognized as a climate-neutral company by Climate Partner.
- 2023
Approximately 1/3 out of 170 employees use the different Home Office options (Home Office, Hybrid, Office)
Management
From trainee to manager: Alex Schladebeck started at BREDEX in 2005 after completing an Erasmus degree. Since 2014 she has been Head of Test Consulting and part of the management team as well as Managing Director since 2020.
Since 2013, Andreas Vogel has not only focused on the strategic future of BREDEX, but is also a member of the advisory board of the Braunschweig Employers’ Association, a member of the Senate of the German Economy and represents BREDEX within i3Systems.
Leadership
The management team consists of the team leaders of all divisions of the company. Together, they ensure that BREDEX is able to respond to the company’s growth and the ever-changing market in an agile manner. Objectives, strategies and measures are discussed and decided on together.
