We are delighted to be hosting Future Day at BREDEX again this year. On April 3, 2025, 12 participants from grades 5 to 9 will have the opportunity to spend a day getting a taste of the exciting profession of software developer.
The day will begin with a creative round of introductions, during which our trainers and the participants will get to know each other. This will be followed by an exciting tour of our company. The students will meet many colleagues from a wide variety of departments and gain an exclusive insight into our offices.
In interactive modules, our trainers will explain what a software developer actually does and what exciting projects can result from this work.
A special highlight of the day, besides the delicious pizza lunch, is programming the micro:bit microcontrollers. In a playful learning environment, the students immerse themselves in the fascinating world of programming. With the help of a dynamic modular system of clearly designed code blocks, they begin to unravel the secrets of software development and master their first programming adventures. But that’s not all! The micro:bit can transfer these programs directly into the real world, giving students the opportunity to put both their programming and communication skills to the test in exciting team challenges.
To top it all off, students have the chance to prove their newly acquired knowledge of software development in an exciting quiz. Who will master the knowledge course and be celebrated as a software champion?
