On September 18 and 19, 2024, the premises of the European Space Agency (ESA) European Space Research and Technology Center in Noordwijk, Netherlands, were transformed into the vibrant center of the space industry. The European Space Agency’s Industry Space Days (ISD) attracted leading companies, up-and-coming start-ups, and the supply industry from all over the world to network and shape the future of space travel. For the first time, BREDEX was also represented at the Industry Space Days by Berend Semke.
Networking and Business Opportunities: The Heart of ISD 2024

One of the outstanding features of Industry Space Days 2024 is the 1:1 meetings, which are organized like speed dating. Over 100 tables are available for 20-minute meetings that promote the exchange of ideas and the initiation of new partnerships. These pre-arranged one-on-one meetings are efficient and allow participants to get to know potential partners and identify joint business opportunities. Direct exchange not only increases efficiency but also the chances of success for each interaction. During these two days, Berend had 18 one-on-one meetings, during which he had interesting conversations about space with a wide variety of people.

BREDEX – Interesting Discussions and New Opportunities for Cooperation
In order to represent the interests of BREDEX GmbH, we had the opportunity to exchange ideas with delegates from Estonia, Lithuania, and Slovakia. The discussions I had with companies such as Tenics Software Engineering GmbH, Vector Synergy, Multilayer, ip camp, and Werum Software & Systems AG, as well as OKAPI:Orbits and iTTi on the second day, were particularly exciting. These encounters not only revealed unexpected and striking opportunities for cooperation, but also showcased the wide range of innovations currently driving the space industry.

Industry Space Days 2024 delivered on all its promises and even exceeded expectations. The event, which had already been announced in advance as a promising highlight of the space industry, proved to be extremely valuable and successful for all participants.
