On September 18, 2024, we, BREDEX GmbH, opened our doors for an inspiring AI networking event in collaboration with the AI Experts from i3systems and the Braunschweig Employers’ Association (AGV). The AI Experts are an association of eight leading companies—DOS Software-Systeme GmbH, CGS mbH, Link Innovation GmbH, MVI, ITUC, i3systems, GNS-Systems, and BREDEX GmbH—that are driving the development and application of artificial intelligence through joint research and collaborative labs.
Inspiring Keynote Speeches by AI Experts
This group of companies has set itself the goal of developing innovative solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and designing them in a practical manner. By combining their expertise and resources, the AI Experts are creating a platform on which ideas and technologies can be pooled and further developed.
The event began with a warm welcome from Jana Schendel, Managing Director of i3systems. This was followed by a series of exciting keynote speeches by various representatives of the AI Experts, who offered guests in-depth insights into various AI topics.

Handwriting Recognition
Alexej Hänsch from DOS Software-Systeme GmbH started with a presentation on handwriting recognition, which showed how AI can evaluate handwritten forms more efficiently. A subsequent live demonstration at one of the trial stations illustrated the practical application.
Efficient Use of Internal Data
Dominik Molitor from CGS mbH presented Efficient Use of Internal Data – Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). An interactive live demo allowed participants to ask questions directly and experience the knowledge database in action.
Link Profiles
Marek Lamprecht from Link Innovation GmbH explained how Link Profiles helps to create and search employee profiles using AI. This innovation enables service providers to create standardized profiles in different formats.
Myth Busters – AI and Compliance Edition
Sophie Powierski and Janine Richter from BREDEX GmbH concluded the series of presentations with “Myth Busters – AI and Compliance Edition,” a presentation that emphasized the human factor in the use of AI. They explained that AI must be used sensibly as a tool and that humans must always remain in control.
AI Applications to Try Out
After the presentations, participants had the opportunity to gain practical experience at various stations. Handwriting recognition, MRI diagnostics, LLMs and knowledge databases, as well as employee profile matching – all of these applications could be tested extensively.
The relaxed atmosphere of the evening was enhanced by delicious finger food, which encouraged participants to linger and network. We welcomed 40 participants from a wide range of industries, including representatives from technical companies, the Technical University of Braunschweig, IT companies, the financial sector, media, and consulting firms. The inspiring presentations and excellent catering were particularly praised.
An interesting point of discussion was the open question of who will monitor AI classification on behalf of the state in the future and whether such a regulation could be transferred from Europe to global standards.
A big thank you to all participants, our partners at i3systems, and the AGV for the great cooperation. We are already looking forward to future events!
