IT Boot Camp for Career Changers

Not all career paths are straightforward. Many people initially decide to pursue vocational training or a degree, only to realize later that their choice was not what they were really passionate about. Similarly, it is not unusual to want a change after a few years in a job. However, at this point, hardly anyone wants to embark on a completely new training program that takes several years to complete.

Career Change into Quality Assurance

To address this change and attract new, undiscovered talent to IT, BREDEX has launched its boot camp! Over a period of six months, our four participants will be introduced to the field of quality assurance and learn all the necessary basics that are important for their future work. They will not only learn about the fundamentals of quality assurance and test automation, but also exploratory testing, whole team quality, and agile mindset. To ensure the boot camp is a success, participants will work on practical projects where they can immediately apply what they have learned. Q&A sessions also support the self-learning process.
After the boot camp, our participants not only dive right into their projects, but can also further specialize in test automation or agile software testing. Individual development opportunities and project assignments are planned on a case-by-case basis.

On the Way to Becoming a Quality Assurance Expert

Over the coming months, we will be accompanying our boot camp participants on their journey and reporting on some of the stages of their training. They will be accompanied by a buddy during their first steps and will gradually get to know BREDEX and their colleagues. In our buddy program, experienced employees support our newcomers and are on hand to offer advice and assistance during the first few weeks and months. This allows new BXers to make their first contacts, have someone to help them with any questions, and feel part of the team right from the start. In a kick-off meeting, they will then learn everything else they can expect in the coming period.
