Jubula 8.2 comes with many enhancements

On October 26, 2015, BREDEX GmbH from Braunschweig released version 8.2 of its freely available testing tool Jubula at http://testing.bredex.de. The release includes enhancements and thus improvements for many users.

Since Jubula 8.1, Bredex has been regularly publishing beta versions via the testing portal, which are now bundled together in an official release.

An excerpt of the features implemented in Jubula 8.2:

    • You can now add your own extensions to the Jubula Client API and also address GEF figures
    • New actions have been added to the GEF toolkit
    • Many new actions have been added for JavaFX, including more actions on tree tables, actions for tooltip checks, and checks of properties under the mouse
    • Actions for tooltip checks and property checks have also been added for SWT/RCP.
    • In HTML, it is now possible to handle native confirmation dialogs.
    • Performance improvements when opening test results.

Jubula is a cross-platform open-source test automation tool that allows you to write functional tests without any programming knowledge. Jubula supports the following toolkits: Swing, RCP, GEF, HTML, JavaFX, and iOS. BREDEX GmbH has been developing and distributing testing tools since 2005. Its predecessor, GUIdancer, has been available to the open-source community since 2013 and is being further developed as Jubula.
