Register now for the Demo Camp in Hanover
Registration is now open for the Eclipse Kepler Demo Camp in Hanover. The Demo Camp is a free-to-attend evening event where various Eclipse technologies and projects are showcased. Zühlke Engineering GmbH and BREDEX GmbH have teamed up to organise the event, which will include demonstrations as well as time to chat and drink a beer with the attendees and speakers.

BREDEX at the Iqnite Quality Conference
BREDEX is speaking at this year's Iqnite Software Quality Conference in Düsseldorf (23rd-25th April). The topic of the talk is UI test automation for mobile platforms.
The talk will take place on the 25th April at 11.15am, and is aimed at test managers, testers and quality engineers. During the talk, the speakers will discuss the challenges and opportunities offered in the realm of mobile UI testing.
GUIdancer 7.0 and Jubula 2.0 released!
The latest releases contain support for Eclipse e4 applications (both tools) and iOS testing (GUIdancer only).
Jubula users can now automate tests for Swing, SWT/RCP (Eclipse 3.x to 4.x), GEF, and HTML applications using the pre-installed library of reusable actions. GUIdancer customers can also write tests for .NET applications and iOS apps (on simulator or on device).
Alongside the new toolkit additions, the new versions also contain general improvements for working with the tools, for example:
- Dedicated 64-bit and 32-bit installers
- Support for testing on Windows 8
- Screenshots of test failures in the HTML reports
- Better support for navigation using double-click from editors and browsers
- More compact properties view display

Eclipse Stammtisch at BREDEX on 21st November

New version of GUIdancer offers .NET support
We are pleased to present the new versions of GUIdancer and Jubula! In version 6.1 of GUIdancer, support for the .NET toolkit has been added so that teams writing .NET applications can use GUIdancer’s effective and powerful automation approach to test their .NET applications.
In parallel with the GUIdancer release, version 1.3 of Jubula has also been made available. New features present in both tools include the option to automatically load a default project when starting the tool, performance improvements, and support for Frames, IFrames, and newer browser versions in the HTML toolkit.
GUIdancer 6.1 can be downloaded from the GUIdancer shop. Trial licenses are available, and introductory sessions, training, consulting and support are available on request. Jubula can be downloaded from the Jubula Project Page.
Meet the Jubula / GUIdancer Team at Eclipse Con Europe
At Eclipse Con Europe from 23rd-25th October 2012 in Ludwigsburg, members of the GUIdancer / Jubula team will be holding talks at the conference and will also be available in the exhibition hall at the BREDEX booth.
Eclipse Con Europe is the yearly European conference for the Eclipse community, and BREDEX is pleased to be holding three talks over the course of the week:
During the whole conference, members of the GUIdancer / Jubula team will also be available to talk to participants about their quality assurance and testing processes, answer questions and chat about using GUIdancer and Jubula for testing Eclipse applications.
Upcoming versions of GUIdancer and Jubula announced
On 16th October, version 6.1 of GUIdancer and version 1.3 of Jubula will be released. The main new feature in GUIdancer will be support for testing .NET applications alongside the currently supported Swing, SWT/RCP and HTML toolkits.
New additions and changes available in both tools will include the option to start GUIdancer or Jubula with a default workspace, database connection and project, an update to the HTML support to include Frames and IFrames, newer supported browser versions for HTML testing, and performance improvements for working with the tool.
