GUIdancer version 3.2 released
GUIdancer, Bredex GmbH's automated functional test tool, has been released in version 3.2 and is available for download. Version 3.2 contains a variety of new supported test actions,
increasing the amount of tests that can be automated out-of-the-box.
Using the library of GUIdancer actions, testers can create powerful, modular tests simply by dragging and dropping the required actions. Because this approach does not involve any program code, automation with GUIdancer is effective and productive from the outset.

Bredex GmbH at the Eclipse Summit Europe 2009
Bredex GmbH will be giving two talks and demonstrating the latest GUIdancer version at the Eclipse Summit Europe this year.
Visitors to the conference, which takes place from 27th to 29th October in Ludwigsburg,
are invited to join us for the talk on cross-platform Eclipse applications: Write once, test everywhere?. The presentation will cover important
differences between platforms when developing and testing Eclipse applications.
In the second talk, we'll be discussing what things to bear in mind when automating tests: Fighting your way through the jungle of test automation: a checklist.
The GUIdancer Team will be also available on the booth in the exhibition hall to demonstrate the upcoming version 3.2 of GUIdancer. This new version supports GEF applications as well as a number of new actions which can be made into automated tests simply using drag'n'drop. The extensive support for GUI actions in GUIdancer means that automated testing is productive, efficient and maintainable right from the start. Demonstrations on the stand will show visitors how robust and flexible tests can be created without spending any time or effort programming.

GUIdancer 3.0 released
Bredex GmbH announced today the immediate availability of GUIdancer 3.0, the automated GUI test tool.
GUIdancer has been expanded in two directions to make automated GUI testing easier and more accessible for a wider range of teams. The introduction of model-based testing lets test case designs be generated from UML models, while the new observation mode allows testers to use a running application to create tests. The Braunschweig-based test experts have also introduced free and unlimited execution licenses with every specification license to reduce the cost of working with the tool.
